About the Artist: Jeanne Dupre is primarily a watercolor landscape artist. Inspired by her daily walks and the ever changing seasons of central New York, she has been painting professionally for about 20 years.

Since then, she and her husband Dick have vacationed in the Indian Lake area while their children were growing up and more recently Lake Placid, Keene Valley, Long Lake, and Blue Mountain Lake.

For the past 4 years Jeanne has been involved with the Adirondack Museum. She has sold her prints in the gift shops at Blue Mountain and their Lake Placid store.

For the past 5 years she has had the pleasure to have been a resident artist at The Lake Placid Lodge for 2 weeks each summer, painting on location and talking to guests.

She has demonstrated watercolor painting in both stores, once again enjoying meeting new people and answering questions. This year and last they have invited Jeanne to participate in their Rustic Fair on the museum grounds in September. Read more

Her most recent projects include commissioned oil paintings for rustic furniture builders across the Adirondacks. Jeanne’s wish is for someone viewing her work will pause a moment in their busy day and admire nature's beauty.

I am introducing a new item. Here is a sample of a 'one of a kind' hand painted slate tile. Each slate tile is from an old roof and being recycled. They will have drilled holes in the top and hang with a piece of rawhide. Contact me for prices.
